Overview
Do you write screenplays but aren’t sure if your writing is up to professional standards? Elevate your script with mentoring and feedback from two industry professionals: a full-time screenwriter and an entertainment industry executive!
In this mentoring session, you’ll learn professional screenwriting techniques and see how to apply them to your script.
Here’s How it Works:
Submit your application by clicking on the link. A maximum of eight slots are available for the January/February mentoring session. The first eight people to apply will be emailed with payment details. Others will be put on a waiting list for a potential future mentoring session.
Applicants will have two weeks after acceptance to submit payment to hold their spot. If payment is not received within two weeks, the slot will be offered to the first person on the waiting list.
Payment must be received no later than Monday, January 4.
By Monday, January 11, you will receive a video recording of Bob and Jeff’s three-part “Screenwriting Basics” session from the 2020 Virtual SoCal Christian Writers’ Conference.
You will also receive a copy of one of the mentors’ produced scripts for your reference.
No later than January 31, you will submit the first 10 pages of your script to Bob and Jeff. They will spend the next two weeks reviewing all submissions.
On February 15–16, each attendee will attend an individual 30-minute Zoom session with Bob and Jeff in which they will provide feedback on the submission, including what works well, suggestions for improvement, and recommendations for next steps. Each attendee will also receive written feedback on their work.
On February 17, registrants are invited to attend a 60-minute group Zoom session where Bob and Jeff will answer attendees’ questions about their projects and/or the entertainment industry in general.
Get all this for just $349.
Want even more? If you’d like feedback on your full script, select the Premium Package ($499) when you register and Bob and Jeff will each read your entire script and provide a full set of notes.
